Unreasonable requests

Postby chrisboote » Thu Dec 14, 2017 10:26 am

We've all had 'em from bosses and clients (and friends, not-so--friendly friends, partners, colleagues, students, lecturers, and just about any else really)

So here's a thread to post any particularly ludicrous ones

Starting with...

A friend is a graphic designer
She was asked to produce an invite flyer to a woman's son's birthday party in the Dinosaurs hall at the Natural History Museum*, the only real instructions were "lots of emphasis on Dinosaurs"
So she used the museum's website for pictures of things they actually have there (with permission), knocked up a Jurassic/Triassic landscape, lots of dinosaurs all over it
She got an email back this morning which she just forwarded to me
Dear J
I can see you've just downloaded artists pictures for the invite
This is not good enough
I need real photographs of dinosaurs
Yrs
Emily

J hasn't stopped laughing all day, and sees no likelihood that she will

*I wish I'd known such things existed when I was a kid. Or a teenager. Or a young man. Or two months ago...
Using your old computer to shop for a new computer online is rather cruel
It's like asking your dying wife if she has any cute girlfriends

1) is she that stupid?
2) did she mean the animatronics/Jurasic Park?
3) did she mean the fossils?
4) otherwise go with the last remaining therapods as Steeljam suggested
