Happy Christmas all!

As the sun lowers in the sky and me and my family sit here in a not too warm Melbourne digesting lunch, I just thought I'd jump on here and say Merry Christmas to you all :D May your LBE's be full of sports!

A very Merry Christmas!!!

Personally, I have only just got out of my PJs after watching the old black & white Scrooge on the tellybox and only agreed to get dressed so as not to frighten the neighbours when I trotted round the garden putting food out for the wildlife - as it's Christmas they got extra nuts, seeds and three suet balls.

Plans for later this afternoon include several bottles of Prosecco (chilling nicely in the fridge) and the Doctor Who Christmas special . . . possibly followed by binge watching GoT from the beginning

I had to look up the translation of naturlommekalenderen. The Nature Wallet Calendar. Or Nature Wall Calendar. Google Translate can't make up its mind. I do love this description: "In the more nerded section of the Nature Wall Calendar you can read about hunting times, rules for fishing, and gain knowledge about the rules for traffic in the forests and on the beaches with and without dogs." They need to add information about orangutans, too.

Nature pocket calendar would be a more correct translation, I think. And no, it doesn't have much information about orang utans, as it's pretty much focussed on Danish nature. But this year's issue has a nice long article on wolves, which have recently re-emmigrated from Germany.
