I think I've got Mandela Syndrome

I'm sure I remember seeing video of Andrew Sachs playing the spoons on the set of Going Postal but buggered if I can find it. What am I confusing it with?
My next project is a book in which I explore the influence of the music of Beyonce on the writings of J R R Tolkien. It's called "It you write it, you have to put a ring in it"

He did play the spoons for us, not sure if anyone filmed it

Ah, that's where I remember it from. Asking as I have recently acquired a pair of spoons from Going Postal... I think they're digging spoons (or one digging spoon and its stunt double)

The Andrew Sachs sky trailer interview is here on the youtubes but i could not find any spoon videos:-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqruV13e9es

And if any of you want to see Pat and other fans being interviewed on set:-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAjaCnZaDOA

And for all you sadists out there at around 2:30 mark you can see me getting the air cannon directly in the face. Much as i enjoyed the overall experience of being one of the fan extras on set, being Claire Foy's place marker in front of the hangman's gallows was a slight disadvantage at that point. Though Basements singing a duet with the hangman whilst between shots still makes me smile occasionally.
Someone has to tilt at windmills.

Thanks for posting those links - I hadn't seen those vids before :thumbl: and Jaxx always looks good in a corset!
You definitely win hands-down on the beard-growing front though!
