RIP Aretha Franklin. :(

She inspired the Maskerade mash-up of "Think" from The Blues Brothers and Thief of Time. Ripples.....

RIP Aretha

I only really knew her from The Blues Brothers onwards, but loved her in that. Amazing voice

Classic FM managed to find a recording of her standing in for a 'big name' (I forgot who) when they were ill.

She will be missed

Oook!

I remember a "behind the scenes" of Murphy Brown, how they said that the audience seemed to perk up and come alive when they heard heard "Respect" start playing as the show began.

She was an amazing singer. RIP Soul Queen.
