Covid19-Crossed to the DiscWorld

Postby hansolobiker » Mon Mar 23, 2020 10:22 am

Yes folks-I think I've got it! Started with a temperature last night and contacted online 111 service and they have told me to self isolate for next 7 days. Not got the cough as yet but generally feeling crap. I am in Yorkshire so our local health service saying that we were likely to experience more cases within 48 hours was spot on-ME! Everybody wash your hands now! Stay safe.

Thanks for the support people! So, Day four of the BUG and I think I am feeling less ill!. Temperature has been a bit up and down but seems to have settled now and I have not had the cough but my breathing has been a bit rough and my throat feels dry all the time. Headache up to yesterday but okay -so far-this morning. Lots of liquids and my appetite has been okay though the enjoyment of food has been lacking. Got the whoozy feeling whenever I stood up and still feeling a little fragile when I do but fingers crossed I am heading in the right direction. The only problem is there is no way for sure to know that you have the Virus without being tested. Keep safe you lot and wash your hands again! :thumbl:

Emily Whitten had about the exact same symptoms, although she can't seem to get the results of her test.

I'm super glad you're on the upswing. :sunny:

So, Day 6 now and think I am feeling more like myself. Still a bit woozy and thick headed but more energy and getting things done around the house so fingers crossed. Day 7 tomorrow so by rights I should be able to get out for a walk on Monday. We shall see.
