"It's like a Stephen King novel..."

On today's news I heard someone say: it's like a Stephen King novel...

Now I understand what the lady meant but as an entertainment - which novel isn't it like?

Can't be Carrie - no one is being bathed in blood or moving objects with their minds...

Can't be Christine - the cars are not being evil Herbies

What can you add?

It's not Cujo. There's aren't any huge dogs raging about the place. (Though the two terriers down the road are a bit loud at night!)

It's not thinner. I don't anyone around here mysteriously losing weight.
Outmaneuvered on all counts, I opt to change the rules.
