Problems and questions - **NO DIGRESSIONS!!**

Just what it says on the tin, a place for all sorts of useful and useless information.

Oook!

I can't upload pictures to my posts - I just get this message: Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.

I didn't know I had a quota. Is there some way to increase it, or to take old things off so new things may be added?

You personally don't, but the board itself does (for everyone's use of file attachments). And as the message says, unfortunately currently it's full (and has been for a while).

I've let Tom know about it before, with the request for a bit of a clean-up. But until then you may want to look at an external hosting site like Photobucket, Flickr or suchlike.

When I login it appears to log me in, then brings me back to a page where I am not logged in. IF I (quickly) click the link "board index" following the login confirmaiton but before the redirect, I can stay logged in, otherwise, da nada.

Nope - it's just logged me out as soon as I clicked "submit" on the above and only logged me in again if I was quick enough to click "Board Index" immediately :?

I think there was a software update done recently which has broken something.

You'll also note that if you have the "keep me logged in" box ticked, it no longer does and you have to still log in every time you visit the site. However i think that tick box may be partially working to keep you logged in once you have actually entered your user name and password.

Can those of you who are seeing this issue confirm if you have the "keep me logged in" tick box checked or not? If you are not on a public computer, using it may help a bit with keeping yourself logged in after you go through the log-in process without having to quickly click things.

I have it checked on my machine, and once I have entered my details I don't see the issue of being logged out again.

I have to keep logging in, even during mid-session
And I make sure the Keep Me Logged In box is checked

When log in I automatically tick the "keep me logged in" box but it signs me out after a while. Have to sign in each visit as well. It's better than it was - I can at least get on now

It does look like a time-out thing - no activity for 5 or 10 minuts and you get bumped off. There possibly a setting deep down in the forum's bowels that needs to be be unchecked

I have tried the box ticked and unticked and after I submit this and it goes back to the forum index it will most likely kick me off again

Exactly the same here
Just refreshing any page causes me to be logged out, regardless of the status of that tick

It may have been fixed as I didn't need to log back in this time!
