Terry Pratchett

You will probably think this is a mad idea but I was wondering if we could get the Master book writer himself Mr Terry Pratchett on this forum to have a little say. That would be fantastic to ask him questions. What do you say? :D

A nice idea, but I’m not sure he ever would.
On the basis that if he posted here then all the other forums would want him to make a ‘guest’ appearance with them.

I think the very least Terry could do is apologise to us for writing THAT book and getting us all involved in this hellish nightmare that is stamp collecting

yeh right on, at lease these have a nice look to them and makes you feel good when you look at them, rather that fishing them out your wallet and sticking them on a envelope never to be seen again. so sad

top trumps are fun but one thing ive just realised, is there ever any mention of birds in his books, you know the common garden variety, just a strange casual observation really and it does link to this all prevaing question what comes next.. (Birds egg collecting)

Terry did in fact appear on the Barnes and Noble University Going Postal discussion and very illuminating it was too.

I am always amazed and very grateful that he gives us, his fans, so much of his time, outside of the long hours he spends actually writing the books.
As we journey through life, discarding baggage along the way, we should keep an iron grip, to the very end, on the capacity for silliness.
