NORTHERN INSTITUTE 49-GRAND TOUR-SUNDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER

Postby hansolobiker » Thu Aug 16, 2018 09:33 am

Ay up you lot! To celebrate the visit of our American friend, Carol(Phalarope) who will be visiting these shores in September/October, it would be nice to host a Northern institute meeting to say hi. With this in mind we propose that a meeting be held on the weekend of 29/30th September to get together with Carol. Would those of you who would like to attend comment accordingly. the venue is open to debate at the moment but our usual place ,The Narrowboat, in Skipton is one option. Any other options please add to your comments.-SUNDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER

I retire on the 28th. It's possible I may be sober by the 29th...
My next project is a book in which I explore the influence of the music of Beyonce on the writings of J R R Tolkien. It's called "It you write it, you have to put a ring in it"

Had an alpaca farm set up at the Farmers Market in St. Michaels the other week selling yarn and I thought of you. Want some alpaca yarn??

I love alpaca, especially the lace, but New Years resolution, only buy yarn for a specific pattern I'm going to do. My entire craft room is offically full to overflowing. Never the right colour, yarn weight or quantity. I'm stopping using that as an excuse for more stash :D

Are you coming to Doncaster? I have a spare room* :D

except I'm blocking shawls on the bed right now
